Shahrukh Khan starrer ‘Fan’ was all set to hit the screens on 14th Aug (Independence Day weekend). But now the film has been postponed. And now Akshay Kumar’s ‘Brothers’ will be releasing on 14th Aug.
Karan Johar, producer of ‘Brothers’, took to Twitter to inform this, “Adi just called and asked me to release BROTHERS on the 14th of August,2015 as FAN is postponed...gestures likes this make my day special...”
Akshay also took to Twitter to inform his fans about the release date of his film. He tweeted, “Team BROTHERS is happy to announce that it's release date is now on the 14th of August,2015.”
It
is said that SRK starrer has been postponed because the team needs time
for post production. And the film will have a never seen before VFX in
it. The new release date of the film will be announced soon.
Since the past few years, SRK starrer flicks have always hit the screens on a festival. So, let’s see on which festive weekend ‘Fan’ will be releasing - on Diwali or on Christmas.
