Omprakash Mehra is currently shooting for his film ‘Mirziya’. And
recently, a sarpech (a brooch worn on the turban), costing Rs 8 lakh,
was damaged on the sets of the film.
A
source said, "The scene between Saiyami Kher (the film's leading lady)
and Anuj (debutant actor) required him to take off his turban and throw
it on the floor angrily. It all went wrong from there."
Anuj
was told to proceed with caution, but he was a bit rough and the
director didn’t want to hinder his performance. The scene was shot with
many retakes and the turban was thrown down many times.
"Everybody
went quiet on the set after Mehra had canned his scene. Hopefully, the
accident is covered under the insurance policy Mehra has taken out and
the insurance company will pay up," the source said.
