Himesh Reshammiya Shows Off His Muscles In The First Look Of GUNS AND ROSES

Himesh Reshammiya, who last year tasted success with ‘The Xpose’, is now all set for his next flick. The musician-turned-actor will be seen in a film titled ‘Guns And Roses: Love, Sex And Violence’. The first look of the film has been revealed and Himesh shows off his muscles in it. 

The movie will be directed by Ravi Rai, brother of ‘Raanjhanaa’ director Aanand L Rai. Himesh will be seen playing the role of a gangster named Raghu. He will be seen with a tattoo on his biceps.

Talking about getting those muscles, Himesh said, “I've been in the gym with my trainer six days a week, 90 minutes a day. I don't eat after 8.30 pm and no carbs after 4 pm. My diet includes grilled chicken, eggs, protein shakes, but no steroids. I've gained five kgs in pure muscle.”

The movie is slated to go on floors in August this year.

Varun Dhawan To Be A Part Of The Sequel Of BABY?

Neeraj Panday and Akshay Kumar recently announced the sequel of ‘Baby’. And now it is said that the makers are keen on roping in Varun Dhawan for the sequel.  

It is said that the actor has been approached to star in the film and most likely he will be doing the film. A source said, "Although Varun’s date diary is packed right now, the makers are keen on having him on board." 

Apparently, Akshay would be indirectly responsible for Varun’s inclusion. "Varun has known Akshay since he was a kid, as the senior actor has done many films with David Dhawan (Varun’s father and director)," the source said.

Sequel Of KICK To Be Written By Salman Khan

Salman Khan, who had earlier written the film ‘Veer’, is now all set to write the sequel of his film ‘Kick’.

The superstar is really kicked about an idea he has got for the sequel of the film. He has already shared the idea with Sajid Nadiadwala, who directed ‘Kick’. 

The filmmaker confirmed the news, but didn’t reveal anything about it.

Music composer Ismail Darbar arrested

Bollywood's well known music composer Ismail Darbar, who had composed music for films like Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, Devdas and others, was arrested today by the Mumbai police. The said arrest took place in context to Darbar's alleged involvement in the assault (which took place yesterday) of a 29 year old Prashant Chaudhary, who worked as an assistant director in an upcoming movie that's being directed by Ismail Darbar.

The police said that Ismail Darbar, Zaid (Darbar's son) and two of their acquaintances (Nishant Singh and Mohsin Khan) went to Prashant Chaudhary's house on New Link Road and assaulted him. The reason for the assault was Prashant Chaudhary demanding his delayed payments from Darbar. Chaudhary, in his complaint to the police, said that the aforementioned four men assaulted him with hockey sticks in his house.

The cops have even obtained the CCTV footage of the society. Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Ramesh Khadtare (Senior Inspector - Amboli Police Station) confirmed the news and said that they have arrested Ismail Darbar in context of the incident.

However Darbar and son were later released after securing bail from a local court.

Dia Mirza to turn director with a romantic comedy

Dia Mirza who made her transition to acting after winning one of the most coveted beauty pageant crown earlier turned producer with her banner Born Free Entertainment. Now we hear that Dia, who recently tied the knot with Sahil Sangha, will soon be donning the directorial hat.

In fact Dia Mirza is gearing up to turn director this year with a yet untitled film that will be a romantic comedy set in urban India. While not much is known about the story line, we hear that Dia couldn't resist directing the film after hearing the script.

While currently Dia Mirza is working to achieve a stronger draft of the script, the film will be produced by her company and will have two young actors from Bollywood. The yet untitled venture is slated to go on floors in June 2015.

Shah Rukh Khan's Fan Release Date Postponed

Super Shah Rukh Khan first release of 2015, Fan has been postponed. Fan, which is directed by Band Baaja Baaraat director Maneesh Sharma is produced by Aditya Chopra's Yash Raj Films.

Filmmaker Karan Johar informed that Aditya offered Fan's release day slot (on August 14) to him for his film Brothers. He tweeted:

The enormous duplex penthouse of John comprises of two separate apartments of the two top floors of the building and offers heavenly sights. Interestingly, the house that overlooks the Arabian Sea, has been designed by his own brother, Architect Alan Abraham.

 

What makes the duplex special is its design which is themed as a Sky Villa. The design of the apartment has also been nominated for international architecture awards.

Film actress Parineeti Chopra was recently spotted in Pune, promoting her cousin brother’s cafe lounge The Mugshot Café launch. She commenced the event with a ribbon cutting ceremony. The actress was seen in a never before seen avatar, donning a rugged look.

 

Needless to say, that the actress pulled the distressed boyfriend denims and a lacy black top like a boss. She accessorised the look with a black hat and pair of nude pumps. Her attitude and playfulness gave her look an edgy feel.

Seems Manoj Bajpayee is in a mood to give tribute of sorts to the filmmaker who made the actor famous in Bollywood. If sources are to be believed Bajpayee will be playing Ram Gopal Varma in a film titled A Shyam Gopal Varma Film. 

 

Not to forget, it was Ramu’s Satya that made Manoj Bajpayee an overnight star with his character Bhiku Mahatre.

 

Reportedly, the film is a Hindi remake of the Telugu film (A Shyam Gopal Varma Film) and the South makers have roped in a Hindi director for the satirical crime comedy.

Kapil Sharma, who excels being a comedian and also known to be a multitalented person, was recently shooting a romantic sequence for his debut movie Kis Kisko Pyaar Karu, which made him a bit nervous. We wonder, was is becuase of the title of the movie.

The TV star was shooting for a song of the film in the outskirts of Panchkund temple, Rajasthan. the romantic scene had him sweating, when he had to show off a sizzling chemistry with his leading lady in the film. Mr Sharma was shooting with Jaane Tu... Ya Jaane fame actress Manjari Phadnis for the lovey-dovey song.

The moment song hummed the lines ‘Kubbol Kiya Tune Mujhe’, Kapil who had to hold Phadnis into his arms, got unnerved with the whole act and was unable to deliver right expressions. Kapil’s anxiety made him do retakes one after other. The comedian in the mean time got into his comic avatar and started to joke around with crew members. But as soon as directors of the film Abbas-Mustan, gave the action command to the actor,
Kapil again felt the nervousness to get into the romantic feel which made him sweat all over again

Randeep Hooda opposite Singham actress in Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani

After being cast opposite Deepika Padukone in Cocktail and then opposite Alia Bhatt in Highway, Randeep Hooda in a fresh casting will be seen opposite Singham actress Kajal Aggarwal. The duo has been cast in a film titled Do Lafzon Ki Kahaani.

 

Interestingly, the project will be helmed by actor turned director Deepak Tijori. Shedding more light on the same, a source has been quoted by a publication saying, “It’s a musical love story and goes on the floor in Malaysia next month. It will be shot in one schedule.”

 

Reports suggest that Tijori has already locked the music of the film and is looking forward to create a buzz with the same.

History Repeats: Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali to face-off at box office yet again!

History repeats itself as Shah Rukh Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansli will be seen in a face off yet again, seven years after they faced clashes with Om Shanti Om and Saawariya in 2007.

It all started with SLB booking the Christmas slot for the Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone starrer Bajirao Mastani. And now buzz is that the same slot has been booked by Rohit Shetty for his Shah Rukh starrer.

Interestingly, even Imtiaz Ali was eager to release Tamasha on Christmas as well, however since the Ranbir Kapoor, Deepika Padukone film was pushed to 2016, Bhansali received the solo release space.

Reportedly, Bhansali who was mighty happy with the solo release, is now disappointed with the new development!

Poonam Pandey to do a biopic on Salman Khan’s step-mother Helen?

Controversy queen Poonam Pandey is looking to settle in Bollywood for good! After making her debut with Amit Saxena’s Nasha, the actress seems to have landed a role in a plum project.

If sources are to be believed Poonam has been finalised as the lead heroine for a film titled Helen. Interestingly, it is being said that the film is based on the life of a cabaret dancer.

The title and the subject of the film suggests that it’s based on Salman Khan’s step-mother,  yesteryear’s item queen, Helen’s life.

In her hay days the actress has delivered hit numbers like – Oh Haseena, Piya Tu Ab Toh Aaja, Aa Jaane Ja among others.

Aamir To Be Seen In Three Different Avatars In DANGAL

Aamir Khan was seen sporting grey hair and beard recently. The new look of the superstar was said to be for his next flick ‘Dangal’. And now, it is learnt that he will be seen in three different avatars in the film.

Aamir will be seen as a 19-year-old boy, a 29-year-old guy and 55-year-old man. However, he will be majorly seen in his fifties in the film. 

The movie is a biopic of wrestler Mahavir Phogat, who is father to wrestlers Geeta and Babita Kumari. And Aamir will be seen as the father of two grown up girls in the film.

Sonam Kapoor Talks About Her Look In PREM RATAN DHAN PAYO

Sonam Kapoor, who will be seen as a princess in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, recently at an event spoke about her look in the film.

She said, "'Prem Ratan Dhan Payo' is releasing on Diwali. In this film, I have worn (designer) Anamika Khanna's dresses, while jewellery is of my mother and Amrapali."

Sonam will be seen romancing Salman Khan in the film.

This film is said to be starring Saqib Saleem as well, who is known for his roles in films like 'Hawaa Hawaai' and 'Bombay Talkies'. Meanwhile Sriram Raghavan is all geared up for his latest 'Badlapur' which is releasing on 20th February and stars actors Varun Dhawan, Nawazuddin Siddique and Yami Gautam.

Salman Khan Production Film HERO Remake And BAJRANGI BHAIJAAN To Release In July

'Hero', which is produced by Eros International and Salman Khan Films in association with Mukta Arts, is all set to release on 3rd July 2015. It is directed by Nikhil Advani and marks the debut of Sooraj Pancholi, son of actor Aditya Pancholi, and Athiya Shetty, daughter of actor Suniel Shetty. 'Hero' is a remake of the 1983 superhit film by the same name which was directed by Subhash Ghai.


Along with 'Hero', Bajrangi Bhaijaan' which has also been produced by Salman Khan Films, is expected to release around Eid in July. It stars Salman Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Nawazuddin Siddiqui and is directed by Kabir Khan.



July seems to be the month of celebration for all Salman Khan fans as they get to enjoy two of his ventures!

Amy Jackson Joins Akshay Kumar For SINGH IS BLING After Kriti Sanon Left It For Rohit Shetty Film

The script needed to be worked on and thus, Akshay swapped the shooting of 'Singh Is Bling' with his next thriller 'Airlift', based on a true story that he starts shooting end of February. The 'Singh Is Bling' script has been suitably changed by Prabhudheva to the satisfaction of Akshay and will now start shooting in April.

In the meantime, Kriti Sanon, who was initially supposed to be the lead opposite Akshay in 'Singh Is Bling', has allotted her dates to the Rohit Shetty film where she has been paired opposite Varun Dhawan. We have now exclusively learnt that Prabhudheva has replaced Kriti with the extremely stunning Amy Jackson, who has recently been acclaimed for her role in Shankar's 'I'. Well, Amy will certainly add to all the bling in the film.

After JAGGA JASOOS, Now Another Ranbir Kapoor Starrer TAMASHA Postponed To 2016

Disney India recently announced the release date of Anurag Basu and Ranbir Kapoor’s 'Jagga Jasoos' as November 27. Earlier, they were looking for October 2. Reason: Ranbir Kapoor has allotted the director April-May dates and the director wants to shoot the film in one single schedule because, after that, Basu also has to look at the edit and music of the film.


Imtiaz Ali and Ranbir Kapoor’s 'Tamasha' will now release in 2016 as the actor doesn’t want to have back-to-back releases.

Sonam Kapoor Cancels Her Party For Salman Khan

Sonam Kapoor was in a party mood after the launch of her friend Pernia Qureshi’s designer nightwear. But, she had to cancel her party to romance Salman Khan for the cameras.

The actress, who will be next seen in Sooraj Barjatya’s ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, got a call from the director that she has to shoot a scene at 5 am next morning. Because of this she had to cancel her plans.

Sonam said, "He told me I had to report on the sets at 5 am. Now, I have to cancel the sleepover with my girlfriends at Pernia's apartment and head directly for Karjat."

Ranbir Kapoor And Imtiaz Ali Launch Irshad Kamil’s Book

Ranbir Kapoor and Imtiaz Ali, who are currently busy with ‘Tamasha’, recently launched Irshad Kamil’s new book.

Irshad has written lyrics for Imtiaz’s films like 'Socha Na Tha', 'Rockstar' and 'Highway'. Talking about the lyricist, Imtiaz said, "Irshad's lyrics come at a point in my films, when I know dialogues will not be enough to describe the feelings. We have a deep association and now while making a film, I know where to leave spaces, which will be filled by Irshad's words."

"He conveys even the deepest of emotions in such a simple manner, which is easy to understand. That's his specialty. He is miles ahead, when it comes to describing romance. I have a lot to learn from him," Ranbir added.

This is Aamir's look for his next project Dangal, where he will be seen playing a man in his fifties. Now given the fact that he has obviouly not gone for any hair colour, his natural grey hair and beard reminds us Aamir's actual age  which is 49!
