Soha Ali Khan ties the knot with Kunal Khemu

Bollywood actress Soha Ali Khan finally got married to fiance and long time beau Kunal Khemu in a small ceremony at their Khar residence in Mumbai.

The wedding took place in presence of a registrar and family members – Soha’s elder brother Saif Ali Khan, sister in law Kareena Kapoor, sister Saba and mother Sharmila Tagore.

  While the bride looked ethereal in a cream-orange lehenga, Kunal was a royal prince. Kareena looked beautiful in an off white-pink sari and Saif was the perfect nawab in a white achkan.

Saif maintained his nawabi look in a pure white achkan and churidaar as he attended to the guests at the ceremony. White seemed to be the favourite colour of the day as Sharmila Tagore opted for a traditional Assamese garb mekhela chador in the pale shade. 

 Soha’s wedding festivities started on January 22 with a bachelorette party thrown by her friends from the industry, including Neha Dhupia and Konkona Sen Sharma. The ‘mehendi’ ceremony was held the next day with Saif and Kareena by her side.

Soha Ali Khan had earlier shared that the ceremony would be a “small wedding in the presence of our family members” and so it happened, in contrast with brother Saif’s wedding in 2012.

Soha, who believes that people need to have “a sense of commitment, maturity and infinite patience to make a marriage last”, got engaged to Kunal in Paris last year after dating each other for quite some time and have always been open about their relationship. The duo has worked together in 2009 film ’99’.
