Subhash Ghai was in plans to make a film on Sarabjit Singh, an Indian who died in a brutal assault by his jail mates in Pakistan. However, now the filmmaker has decided to shelve the film.
Ghai
said, "We could not find the right cast. Besides, the Indo-Pak
relationship is at such a juncture that it wouldn't be right to do a
film like that. I feel it just isn't the right time."
Reportedly, Sonakshi Sinha was roped in to play Sarabjit Singh’s sister in the film.
