The Salman Khan hit-and-run case took another major turn in court on Thursday. In an official statement, the doctor in charge of the tests said that though Salman smelled of alcohol, he wasn't under it's influence. He also added that during the examination, Salman's speech was coherent and his gait was normal.
The doctor was present at the hospital when the actor was brought in by Bandra police and had collected samples of Salman's blood after the said event.
The matter is next set to be discussed on the 27th of January, 2015. Till then Salman fans will have to wait and watch.

Advocate Shrikant Shivade, appearing for Salman Khan, added that the actors blood samples were taken without his consent. To this, the doctor retaliated saying that verbal consent was sought before taking the blood samples.
